1956 Hofner Senator - Blonde
Hofner guitars have become very collectable, and represent a great way of buying a cool vintage archtop without paying a high price.
This example is in excellent condition, all original, apart from the tuning button on one of the machine heads which has been replaced with a close match and the tailpiece which is new.
It has a great warm tone, voiced well for blues, jazz and swing and it has been fitted with new flat wound strings 
The neck feels very comfortable and the action is very low and easy to play, which is unusual for older archtops. It comes with an original, hard case which is battered but functions ok.
The guitar has a floating pickup attached to the neck, but the input jack has not been fitted to the guitar. We can do this for you or if you prefer we can just fit a jack input to the end of the lead.
